Right at the beginning of the pandemic in spring 2020 it brought out Switzerland’s first goat’s milk chocolate. It was probably the right moment for the move since most of the population were ensconced in their homes and doing their shopping online. Thanks to the new webshop created at that time you could conveniently order Blüemlisberg products to be delivered to your home without going out.

Five new products added to the range

However, the goat’s milk chocolate was not the last new product to be introduced. Gradually the product range was expanded to include dark goat’s milk chocolate, the juicy goat burger and crispy goat merguez and finally in 2022 Blüemlisberg pralines and powdered goat’s milk sticks as travel snacks. All these delicacies are produced by Blüemlisberg from 100% pure Central Switzerland goat’s milk and goat meat.

New packaging, same content

Experience and customer feedback persuaded Blüemlisberg AG to create new packaging for some of its products. As of 1 May 2022 these products are available in the new design. “Back to the roots” was the motto. The new packaging has a very plain and simple look – white with gold lettering. “It reflects the whiteness of goat’s milk, with a hint of luxury – I’m very happy with it,” says Arlette Tresch, Head of Marketing & Sales at Blüemlisberg AG. Besides the product packaging, the website and online shop have also been made more customer-friendly and modern.

Strong partners for strong products

Blüemlisberg AG relies on external partners to provide its gourmet products at a high quality level. All its chocolate products are made by the Root-based Aeschbach Chocolatier AG and the powdered goat’s milk by Hochdorf Swiss Nutrition AG. “Thanks to the strong partners we have on our side, we’re able to offer these products at a high quality level,” says Thomas Schmid, owner of Blüemlisberg AG.

New offers and a diverse events programme

One highlight was the opening of the new theme and adventure trail “Geissä Wäg”, which was created in summer 2021 in cooperation with Sattel-Hochstuckli. Blüemlisberg is ready for the upcoming ice cream and grill season – the ice cream bikes, the ice cream buddy (trailer) and the new food truck all cut quite a dash. The mobile stalls are also available for external events. Simply contact us and we’ll make you a suitable offer. Everything we’ve had to do without in the last two years will be made up for in the coming months. Many events small and large will be held on Blüemlisberg mountain.
